Lost Age

Lost Age is an action game set in a world where dinosaurs and humans have always lived together. We're looking at a title that's essentially quite similar to Archero, except that this time it's packed with a whole slew of new plot devices to keep the classic 'roguelike' formula ever fresh for mobile players.

The premise of the game in Lost Age is to make it all the way to the end of each level through onslaughts of all kinds from a vast variety of different enemy types. Your hero automatically attacks even while standing still, so all you have to do is toggle the crosshead at the bottom of the screen to direct the aim of his blows. Keep in mind you'll need to be in the same line of sight in order to attack your enemies. Anything that stands in your way will prevent your hits from inflicting damage upon your target.

Unlike Archero and its hundreds of clones, in Lost Age you won't get any new skills when you level up: each screen in the game provides you with a specific reward even before you begin. In fact, one of the strengths in this game is that there are several different paths to take, providing you with ample opportunity to decide exactly what you want to interact with or collect, including: coins, temporary rewards, health bars, street vendors with special items, skills and much more. Pick each pathway strategically to favor your character's development as you play.

Each skill is divided up differently in Lost Age, either by theme or according to your own categorization preferences. That said, nothing is stopping you from fully customizing your character down to the very last detail. You can also opt to search for the God of Thunder -- he'll level up your critical hit capacity; or go after the God of the Night -- if poisoning your opponents is what you're after. Likewise (as might be expected) the God of Wind ups your velocity, and so on and so forth. But, you'll need to choose wisely. You'll only get to invoke one of these special abilities. And, its powers vanish instantly as soon as the game is over.

Lost Age is a fantastic action game that has a colorful visuals and adds many new features to the original formula established by Archero. The video game also comes with a fully developed base of operations where you can construct new buildings and level them up to obtain new resources to improve your character. Don't forget to equip him with each of the different weapons you pick up -- that'll really come in handy to aid him to survive onwards to the next level.
